Solutions

Start with the problem.
You don’t need to know what the deliverable is yet. Tell me what’s going on, what isn’t working, or where you could use some help. We’ll figure out what makes sense from there.
01
Your brand feels inconsistent.
02
Your team needs better tools.
03
You have something complicated to explain.
04
You need more design support.
05
You’re launching or changing something.
Different projects need different kinds of support.
Some jobs are one-and-done. Others need more time, more collaboration, or an extra designer who can stick around. Here are a few ways we can structure the work.
A la carte
Got a specific design problem or something that needs making?
Bring me in for a defined piece of work and we’ll sort it out. This works well when you know what you need—or at least know what isn’t working—and want experienced help getting it across the finish line.
How it works
We talk through the need, define the scope, and I provide an estimate before getting started. Some assignments are tightly defined; others need a little figuring out first.
Good for
Presentations, collateral, illustration, production work, signage, one-off design needs, and those odd projects that don’t fit neatly into a category.
Pricing
Usually estimated by project. Open-ended work can be billed at $85/hour.
Project based
Got a larger project with a lot of moving parts?
I can work with you from early thinking through production and final delivery. This is a good fit when the work involves multiple pieces, phases, people or decisions—and benefits from someone staying involved from beginning to end.
How it works
We establish the goals, scope and deliverables up front, then break the work into manageable phases as needed. I can collaborate with your internal team, outside vendors or other partners along the way.
Good for
Brand systems, websites, campaigns, environmental graphics, launches and larger communications projects.
Pricing
Quoted as a project estimate based on scope, timeline and deliverables.
Retained
Need steady creative support over time?
I can plug in, learn how your team works, and help keep the work moving. Over time, that means less explaining, less ramp-up and a designer who already understands the brand, the people and how things get done.
How it works
We agree on an expected level of support and work together on an ongoing basis, rather than stopping to scope every small assignment individually.
Good for
Marketing and communications teams, recurring campaigns, ongoing production, presentations, sales materials and businesses that regularly need design help.
Pricing
Based on expected workload, availability and cadence.
Still not seeing your problem?
Good. Categories only get us so far.
Bring me the thing that isn’t working, the half-formed idea, or the project nobody quite knows what to do with yet.
