The first concept was more illustrated and immersive, but it quickly became more complicated than the game needed.

So we stripped it back
The final direction focused on the essentials: prompts, punchlines and the people playing. A simpler, mostly text-based experience felt closer to the original game and made the concept much more realistic to build.

Making it real
I developed the game flow, wireframes, interface and visual language, then brought it together in a prototype Ross could use to communicate the idea to potential development partners. The result was a clearer, more focused version of the original concept—with just enough personality to feel like a game without getting in the way of the joke.
