Buildlers Digital Experience (BDX) had grown into a broad portfolio of products and services for the homebuilding industry, many developed or acquired at different times and carrying their own visual baggage. Over four years, I worked across the organization to bring those pieces together—building a flexible visual system and putting it to work across web, sales, campaigns, presentations, events, and everything in between.

Buildlers Digital Experience (BDX) had grown into a broad portfolio of products and services for the homebuilding industry, many developed or acquired at different times and carrying their own visual baggage. Over four years, I worked across the organization to bring those pieces together—building a flexible visual system and putting it to work across web, sales, campaigns, presentations, events, and everything in between.

A system built to flex
A major part of that work was leading a ground-up redesign of the corporate website. What started as a sprawling, aging site with roughly 150 pages became a much more focused expression of the company and its product portfolio. Working with marketing, product teams, writers, videographers, leadership, and outside resources, I helped organize the content, establish the visual language, create the assets, and carry the project through launch. The same system extended well beyond the site, giving the team a more consistent foundation for day-to-day marketing and future growth.

The same visual language had to hold up well beyond a browser. For BDX’s major trade-show presence, I translated the brand across roughly 1,600 square feet of booth graphics, bringing multiple products and messages together into one cohesive environment.

A new front door.
The website brought much of that thinking together in one place. We reduced outdated and overlapping content, clarified the product structure, created a more useful navigation system, and established consistent visual cues across the portfolio. Just as importantly, we rebuilt it on a foundation the internal team could actually maintain and evolve.

Over time, the work became less about individual deliverables and more about giving the company a visual language it could keep using. Whether the next need was a website page, sales deck, campaign, trade-show wall, or something entirely new, there was finally a common foundation to build from.
